Lindale is Quickly Growing!

Lindale is a city primed for retail development and we invite retailers, developers, and brokers to contact us. Located at the East Texas intersection of Interstate 20 and US 69 in Smith County, Lindale is at the crossroads of one of the highest traffic count intersection along I-20 between Terrell and the Louisiana state line.  Newly constructed TXDOT frontage roads along Interstate 20 between US 69 and Jim Hogg Road have opened more than 700 acres to development. 

Lindale is home to Mercy Ships and Youth With A Mission.  Both of these are international missionary organizations that contribute largely to the local economy and bring many visitors.  Hideaway Lake is a gated subdivision with approximately 4,500 residents, three 9-hole golf courses, and three lakes.  There are new residential subdivisions with current construction activity across the Lindale Independent School District.

When it comes to retail, Lindale has historically been underserved, but with the growth this city is experiencing, development is moving along swiftly.  The retail core of Tyler, Texas is on the south side of Tyler, which is a 35 to 40-minute drive from Lindale. Lindale's retail draw area extends north and east and west for about 15-20 miles, and south for about 10-15 miles.
